i think she wants to talk to me and i want to talk to her. after class, she puts on her makeup, put on a piece of mint gum. but when i wait outside class(she knows i wait for her), i look at her, she would walk so fast i dont know how i could approach her and start a conversation. she is so hott, by the way. do you think she is shy? how can i start a conversation with her? she has lots of friends but no bf. i've told her i liked her, but not directly.

they aren't shy - they are superstars and experts for the sheer virtue of having met SO MANY MEN that they can tell your pulse just by looking at your face.
They can "manipulate" their emotions according to the need of the hour -

I heard somewhere the the hotter a girl is, that the lower her self esteem for most ( this doesn't go for all hot girls) but i hear there are some hot girls who depend on the attention they get from being hot to "fuel" them esteem wise. they don't know how to be liked any other way, which in turn could make her shy, or make her an attention hog, but most likely she is just a regular person who is unsure of meeting you. maybe she doesn't know what to say or how to be approached, just because shes hot doesn't mean she has confidence and is all secure maybe you just have to initiate something. try that out and hit me back up.

You could go on thinking she was shy if she didn't already know that you liked her. I mean, she's popular. People don't get popular by not talking to anyone. I'm sorry to say this, but she probably is avoiding conversation with you because she doesn't like you back and is trying not to get stuck in an akward conversation.

Most popular girls aren't shy, but that is a generalization. Most popular girls that I went to highschool with were also sluts.
