Goonies is awesome.
I used to have a crush on little Sean Astin.
I loooved his braces ;-)
Maybe with a little more updated special effects, yea sure why not.

I agree that the original could not be beat.
So, I would like them to touch it up and re-release it. Kind of like they do with the Disney Movies. That way the kids today would be introduced to it.

Everything is CGI....which loses something real in a film. And a remake would all be done for the CASH value.....not for the story. It would sadden me.

I would love it and I think that they are!! Woohoo!! I know they are rumored for awhile now that they are going to make a 2nd, but I sure hope it happens!!! They would use the same characters...
