When you sleep, your energy needs go down, so the food you are digesting is more likely to be stored as fat.
Also, a lot of people (myself included) just don't sleep as well if they have just eaten. Most people want to nap after eating a big meal, but long term good sleep is harder to come by.
I also have very vivid and realistic dreams if I eat before bed. Most of them are bad or even nightmare quality...

The main reason is that your body is working to digest the food. When your body is working, you don't get as sleepy. Try going to sleep sometime when you are mowing the lawn. Another good point is the feeling of fullness making you uncomfortable. I take a bedtime medication that has instructions to take with food or milk, so I take with a small glass of milk or a small cup of ice cream and I sleep like a baby.

If you are trying to digest your food your body is not in a restful state, still working.I think certain things you eat is better to be up and moving to get digestion completed.
Foods are energy so you don't want to feel energetic
when going to sleep.Have a warm glass of milk.
This will fill you up and help you relax or decaf hot tea.

It needs at least an hour or more to digest. Sleeping right away can cause bloat/constipation/stomach problems.

Sleeping with a full stomach makes you uncomfortable and cannot sleep well. Another problem is that the food will stay in your intestinal system longer because you are lying down. This is main reason for intestinal cancer (top killer in many affluent countries).

this is actual and not actual. It truly relies upon what you consume. consume some thing that's easy including water crackers. do not consume dairy in case you may help it, because it will advance the potential of putting on weight throughout the time of the night. i hit upon that ingesting some sips of water lowers the possibility of putting on weight, do not understand regardless of if that's actual. specific, you will placed on weight throughout the time of the night, besides the shown fact that this is going to pass off because of the fact the day is going via.
