Most laptops have an S Video adapter that you can use to plug your pc up to the TV......What is your laptop model number?

You can also go to a Best Buy and take your laptop with you, and show the sales person your pc and ask what you need to buy so you can connect it to your TV, also, ask them to show you what buttons to push for your computer to use the tv......I like to make them work for their money.....lol

yes! as far as i know you can only transfer video from your laptop to your TV (not sound). I have a laptop myself and use an S-Video cable to show the picture. as for sound, my advice is to buy a set of external speakers for your computer. So the sound will be coming out of your computer speakers but the picture will be on your TV. Hope this helps!
Also this is not expensive....an s-video cable is 7 bucks max and you dont neccessarily have to buy extra speakers, you can just use your laptop's built in ones.
