In your opinion, which rims do you believe look best on a 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse?

By that I mean what brand and style, not size....Although I have wondered how do I fit 19" rims onto such a small vehicle without it rubbing on the sidewall?

17-18 for performance, try to match the diameter of the factory tires only with more rim and less tire, this will help you avoid speedo problems.

the higher you go over 18's the lower your performance will be.......not to mention you will look like you are compensating for something "hint hint" by putting ridiculously large wheels on your car.

People who put "dubs" on their cars are attention seekers.

Well in performance, 18 will be the maximum size of the rims. But I recomend 17, because it's light and gives great handling (reason why compact race cars rims are 17). But 18 is also a good option for looks and performance. Never get 19 and up, there too heavy and give lousy performance (go aheand if you want looks). The width, i recommend 225 tyres
