hi jessica! well, first u need to get some videos into itunes. here is an easy way to test things out - i have FREE videos in the itunes store - subscribe to my video podcast and download some of my funny videos, then sync ur ipod and u should now have videos - for FREE: http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=183309259
i have a video ipod too and this works perfectly!
u should also check out the other FREE video podcasts available in the itunes store. simply open itunes, click on "iTunes Store" then click "Podcasts" in the iTunes Store menu on the top-left of the window. all of the podcasts are FREE and many are videos! look for and click the iTV icon at the very top of the page that says "TV iPod Showcase", and look for the "Featured Video Podcasts" section in the bottom-middle of the page. finally, u can browse through the various podcast categories by clicking in the "Categories" on the left-side of the iTunes Store window.
hope this helps - enjoy ur new ipod video!
xo,
Betty

On iTunes go to Files>Add Files To Library and select whatever videos want to add. After it's on iTunes, sync it to your iPod.

Download a video converter off google. There are so many free software programs out there. All you need to do is a little "googling".

When your iPod is connected, select the Video tab, and change your preferences there by selecting which videos (or all) you want to sync to your iPod.

I relatively have the classic. i like the dimensions of it, much less annoying to hold and control. My husband has the hot Nano. He likes it yet thinks it particularly is form of small. i like the hot application on the hot Nano. i might circulate to the shop and carry each and each to make certain what you will possibly be able to like extra. sturdy success. Ipods are extraordinary!!!

you need to have a program that converts DVD's to MP4 format. I use PQVideo, it automatically converts the DVD movies to iPod format all you have to do is to Import the file to iTunes.
