i really love basketball.all of time i really think that a guy with 5'8" is impossible to dunk until i saw by nate robinson.
since then i hav been doing lots of jumps n now i can touch d basketball rim n sometimes i can grab it a little.but recently it seems my vertical has been stop at that level.what can i do to gain enough inches to dunk? it would so awesome if i can dunk on that fat a## at my home court who alwiz call me shortie.

i'm 5'7" and i'm able to dunk a basketball (not the fancy slam type, though). most of the power comes from the muscle that's located right above the knee. lunges work great and also try doing a lot of leg presses. go biking and running to keep the muscle loose. calf raises didn't seem to work for me, although it does look great when you've got enormous calf muscles.

definately work on your leg muscles try lunges and this may sound weird but running really helps. and just so you dont try jumping alot doesnt help your jump at all.
