there is no way you need a guy. going alone is ok because it leaves everything wide open, you can be with anyone at anytime and do anything. personally. i would go with the girls, you already know you will have a great time with them and what's more fun than the girls in fancy dresses having fun. yall could go do something fun afterwards like bowling, the beach or anything else. you could change or have even more fun in your elegant gowns.

many girls go to the prom without a date. You will probably see many more there with the girls once you get there.
go with your friends and have fun!!
I went to Jr prom w/my friends - had a blast
Sr prom I had a date - not so much fun... felt too serious or something, ya know?

It's optional but its more exciting if u dont have a date and just dance the night away with the crowd
if u have a date..well can't explain cause it's not my prom year yet..im turning 6th grade this june..but i know a lot coz i have many older friends....

You can DEFINITELY go to prom with just the girls. I didn't go to prom myself, but I went to home coming with a group of my friends (all female) and we had a good time.

No you don't have to go with a guy. My sister went alone, I went with my friends, and hung out with our friends we had a great time you are probably going to be mingling with everyone anyway. Just have fun!!

It's okay to go with friends! Who cares if you don't have a date? And if you really feel bad about it, then just ask one of your guy friends. It's not THAT big of a deal to go without a date.

i think you should go with whoever you are going to have the most fun with. a bunch of my friends are going together and i'm going with my best guy friend....just have fun.

im 14 && we have 8th grade prom....the guys at our school are sooooo yucky....yah i do like guys now...im not 5...but they are sooo rude && stuff that no 1 likes em...so me && my girl friends are sooooo totally goin together but for you....you are a liberating, free woman soooo u def. DONT have to.
