I like the concept of being millions of miles away from someone and being a good buddy of theres online sure not everyones a true friend but if you invest enough time and search hard enough you'll find one

Yes. I belong to several groups and I've been friends with one person ever since I joined the first group. We IM a lot and email each other often. I trust her enough to discuss personal issues with. I even think both of our husbands and our kids would get along with each other. I was very leery about communicating online with anyone, but through our conversations, I've learned that we both have the same values, interests and religious beliefs. But, PLEASE be careful communicating on the internet. Not everybody is what they seem.

YES!!! I did. She is a wonderful lady. She is a little older than me, but hey, what is age. We connected right off the bat and have been friends for 3 years now. We have even talked on the phone and shared pictures. I wish I had a few more friends like her.

Yes, and I have been for years.
I have friends all over the United States, England, Australia, the Phillipines, Germany and other places.
I am sure I will never meet any of them, but I have been known to meet some, and you never can tell. . .

Hahahah! YES! I met this one guy through a friend online and we never met before and 2 weeks later after meeting online he asked me out and we went out for a month and never met until liek a couple months after we broke up! haha..now i see him every once in awhiel and its really awkward...SO i wouldnt suggest dating someone youve never met before lol
Haha and I was only in 8th grade btw this wasnt recently

I did find one this week as a matter of fact Diana and I met her right here on y/a!! We have e-mailed each other and I think she's one of the nicest people on here. You said if you search hard, you will find ONE.....why just one? We're out here......just keep looking my friend.
