I noticed today three different women walking around with shaved off eyebrows completely drawn back on with an eyebrow pencil. Is this back in style?! Was it EVER in style? And what in the heck is the point? **Shudder** It grosses me out! Any opinions?

hate this one too, but i've noticed more people doing this also, including my 19 y/o niece!!! i finally talked her out of doing this!!!!! but, once they do it, it's hard to let the stuff grow back to get the right style back.
i had an aunt that shaved hers, and it never filled in enough to grow back out. so, she was stuck drawing hers on for the rest of her life!!!!

Some people aren't born with perfect eyebrows and probably tried every posible trick out there and didn't work so they shaved it off.... It is kinda creapy in my opinion too, but I don't think it is in style, I live in L.A. and have seen very few "normal" people like that. And yes it was a style in the 90's for a short period everybody was doing it. It's a good thing it didn't stay for long.

I was at Walgreens a few days ago and the girl behind the register was a fair-skinned blonde and she had shaved off her eyebrows and drawn them in with what looked like a black marker. EEEEWWWW!!!! It was scary. What was she thinking? What is anyone that does this thinking!? Where do people get the idea that this looks good? I don't think it was ever in style.

Noooo, shaving ones eyebrows is definitely NOT in style nor will it ever be in style.

back in the 90's, people used to do that. some liked it so much that they had their eyebrows tattooed on. maybe the people you saw had tattoed eyebrows, so they cant do anything about it now. but yeah, it isnt my cup of tea either.

I don't understand why people do this, they should be thankful they have eyebrows and eyelashes, I lost mine due to taking a chemo pill for leukemia, I'm thankful they grew back.

let's hope that shaved eyebrows will be a thing of the past...it will probably NEVER EVER EVER come back and if it does...run for the hills...(its not coming back as far as i know)

some woman just goof trying to do them.Its what all the models do and everyone always thinks they have to follow the style.But really Pamela Anderson ,Marilyn,Anna Nicloe all the bomshells do it.But they are shot from a far people dont realize they have profesionals to do their makeup.

Yeah...it grosses me out too. I've only met two girls in my entire life that actually looked good with drawn on brows.
Oh, and god forbid they forget to draw them on or it rubs off. That sh** is REALLY scary!

i agree with you! what's worse is that lots of people nowadays like having eyebrows tatooed on them...alot of em say that their reasons for this is that they're just too lazy to draw their eyebrows back on...
