someone please explain to me ,what is a Blog .?

How & where can i start one ? thats all i see out there Blog this & Blog that . What is the purpose of a Blog . I'm thanking you in advance .

A blog is sort of a public journal that you keep online. Myspace has a section where you write your blog and people can comment on what you have written. another popular site is xanga.com.
