It has a glimmer of hypocrisy in it or double standards in my opinion. One minute she's saying "I don't care, I'm still real. And I won't change." la la la la.... But then says, "If you ain't got no money take yo'broke *** home." It sounds like an arrogant song to me (like she's bragging) and it annoys me although I do like Fergie. Yah... she's really got "problems." But she's soooo rich. Hmm guess she don't want nothing to do with this broke a** fan. Hmmm

Ya... she's got money in the bank... and wants to thank her broke a** fans. Oh ya... and she's also "Fergalicious" don't forget that... gotta spell that too. I'd rather not hear how much money you got in the bank and tell someone to take their broke a** home. It's just contradictory (sp).

That question deserves a star for you.

Glamorous

If you ain't got no money take yo'broke *** home
You say: If you ain't got no money take yo'broke *** home
G-L-A-M-O-R-O-U-S, yeah G-L-A-M-O-R-O-U-S

[B-Section:]
We flying the first class
Up in the sky
Poppin' champagne
Livin' the life
In the fast lane
And I wont change
By the Glamorous, oh the flossy flossy

[chorus:]
The glamorous,
The glamorous, glamorous (the glamorous life)
By the Glamorous, oh the flossy flossy

[Verse:]
Wear them gold and diamonds rings
All them things don't mean a thing
Chaperons and limousines
Shopping for expensive things
I be on the movie screens
Magazines and boogie scenes
I'm not clean, I'm not pristine
I'm no queen, I'm no machine
I still go to Taco Bell
Drive through, raw as hell
I don't care, I'm still real
No matter how many records I sell
After the show or after the Grammies
I like to go cool out with the family
Sippin', reminiscing on days when I had a Mustang
And now I'm in...

[B-section then chorus]

[Ludacris:]
I'm talking Champagne wishes, caviar dreams
You deserve nothing but all the finer things
Now this whole world has no clue what to do with us
I've got enough money in the bank for the two of us
Brother gotta keep enough lettuce
To support your shoe fetish
Lifestyles so rich and famous
Robin Leach will get jealous
Half a million for the stones
Taking trips from here to Rome
So If you ain't got no money take yo'broke *** home
G-L-A-M-O-R-O-U-S, yeah G-L-A-M-O-R-O-U-S

[B-section + chorus x2]

[Verse:]
I got problems up to here
I've got people in my ear
Telling me these crazy things
That I don't want to know (**** y'all)
I've got money in the bank
And I'd really like to thank
All the fans, I'd like to thank
Thank you really though
Cause I remember yesterday
When I dreamt about the days
When I'd rock on MTV, that be really dope
Damn, It's been a long road
And the industry is cold
I'm glad my daddy tell me so, he let his daughter know. [x3]

Most of the lyrics talk about how she's still grounded despite being glamorous. so yes and no. The song is about the glamorous life that Fergie lives. Her life has changed having since become rich and famous, and the video conveys the characteristics of a glamorous lifestyle. However, Fergie stresses that she has not changed as a person because of this. The lyrics reflect this attitude: "Wear them gold and diamond rings, all them things don't mean a thing." At the end of the day, she likes to return to her family and friends, to "reminisce the days when she had a Mustang." In addition to emphasizing how fame hasn't changed her, Fergie makes sure to thank her fans because they have made her dreams come true and her glamorous life possible. At the conclusion of the song, she directs a sincere thank you to her fans, remembers the days when she hoped to rock on MTV and reflects on how "it's been a long road in the industry."

She is a self-conceited person.

Why do you think the Music Awards never liked her work?

Almost every artist can relate to every one's problems but with Fergie, she does not know how to and she only brags about herself. Her, her, and her.
