Youtube is completely reliable since you are only viewing streaming videos and not downloading anything to your computer. Being such a large corporation, there is seemingly no way to obtain a virus from youtube in anyway unless perhaps a comment for a video has a questionable link

Some people post things that have pop-us to other sites. ANd then those sites can have bad scripts that install spyware. But those types of things are blocked with IE 7 or IE 6 with service pack 2 installed. As long as your browser is set to block-pop ups and not allow all cookies, then youtube is safe.

It is possible for a trojan to attack your pc just from viewing a video, but I havent ran into any problems with you tube yet......Just last week I was watching videos on Ebaumsworld and got a virus.....I have been going to that site for 2 years and never had that happen, but it is possible.....
