Ummm...interesting. You're comparing one of the top 3 or 4 centers of all time with one of the top 10 or 15 small forwards of all time. Shaq is really not a sidekick, he's more of the main attaction. If I was the #1 player on my team and needed a sidekick, I'd pick Pippen because he's the ultimate second banana. I'd consider an old Shaq as a sidekick, though.

This question is like comparing Apples to oranges b/c Shaq wasn't Kobe's sidekick, kobe was his. Better question Pippen or Kobe? Answer: Pippen. That way at least your sidekick is really your sidekick and not trying to run you out of town at any chance.

Shaq

Pippen, because if it was Shaq, he wouldn't be a sidekick, he'd be the main show. Now, if I was looking for success, not a sidekick, i would take Shaq.

Apples and oranges. Pippen was a good sidekick, because he was a sidekick. Shaq is one of the best centers ever--period.

pippen. yea shaq is alot more dominant and his stats make him look so much better. but how good of a sidekick would he b in a game with 5 secs left and down by 2??? pippen is clutch and is quick and can actually do sumthing besides dominate the paint. and wat if u gave the ball 2 shaw and he got fouled??? u kno 4 sure hes not gona make both free throws. and michael jordan+pippen=championships

Of course It's Shaq...he brings more to the table...what's your point?.....Pippen is a top 50 player of all time..in his prime many people considered him the second best player in the league....and without Pippen MJ never had a winning season..Pip was that good...now if MJ played with Shaq...maybe they would have won 10 NBA titles..who knows..they may have also split up ...because MJ would not have settled for second fittle either!....

Yeah Shaq never had a Migraine....But Pip never had a sore big toe either..lol...

I'm not a big Shaq fan, but at least he never got a "migraine".

Pippen is the most overrated basketball player of all time.

your right, it is like apples and oranges. Scottie is one of the greatest players that ever lived, and one of the top five defenders of all time.

Shaq might be the most "dominant" force the NBA has ever seen.

Honestly, because its the whole Kobe/MJ thing, Ill take Shaq because Shaq is a great scorer and passer, draws alot of attention and opens up shots, and is an alltime great defender.

But dont get me wrong, Id be more than happy with Scottie.

Definitely Shaq because of his ability to pass out of the double team to an open man or just slam on somebody.
