I am Partly a Mumbaite and partly a Himachaly...
Was born in Himachal Pradesh, my parents are from Himachal too. But Since I was brought up in Mumbai, I consider Mumbaite on the larger side.
BTW, I was wondering the logic behind your question. Can you explain.
All the best...

I am from New York but lived in California and moved to Florida...
So am I still a New Yorker? or maybe some percent Floridian with a dash of Californian thrown in for good measure?
But what about the idea that you can take a New Yorker out of New York but you can not take New York out of a New Yorker...?
I think I am a bagel and pizza munching New Yorker for life!
hehe
Yes I know that modern India is not a normal country, it is the British Indian Empire minus Pakistan and Burma (Partition 1947). So yes the states are like their own countries with their own languages etc. But yeah we have that too, most US States have their own dialect. Yanowhadimean....

I was born and brought up in TN. My mother tongue is Telugu. I studied in Tamil medium. I love Tamil for its richness of literary wealth. I worked in places like Delhi, Hyderabad, Bangalore etc. I frequently visit Kerala on pilgrimage and I can easily follow Malayalam, for its affinity with Tamil and the serenity of the country. I hate to be identified with any particularly linguistic group or State. Nothing gives me more pain than the chauvinistic inter-state dispute, be it on account of sharing of water, border or other issues.
