I know many bands but they sing in English and I need to listen to more German lyrics in order to practice. Thanks in advance.
P.S: Progressive rock bands (the likes of Pink Floyd, Marillion, Rush, Dream Theater, etc.) only please, don't tell me Rammstein!

You might try a band called Die Krupps. They are a band from germany, and at one point they did a cover of a metallica album (i'm not sure which one) but I also think they do some songs in german.

check out http://www.progarchives.com for a list of almost every prog band that has ever existed, often with free mp3 samples. I believe they have the ability to search by country of origin.

if my memory serves me correct and please correct me if i'm wrong...there was this artist- peter schilling and his song "major tom"- it was sung in english and german... i hope this info will help...
