In order to restore it was necessary to pick a date to restore from. In doing so I had picked date before I had purchased WinAntiVirus. Now I have no way ,that I can find, to get WinAntiVirus back, no icons are on my desktop or in my folders or control panel. Could you please advise me what to do? You should have an email with the registartion info.
All you need to do is re-install the program ( download it again if necessary).

sure, in the experience that your restore factor is earlier to the "hijacking". If no longer, or, in case you do not have a sturdy restore factor... then wiping out the harddisk and reloading the OS could be your suitable answer. you are able to attempt to bathe it, yet lots of those viruses/spyware get so deep interior the registry that a reformat and reload of the OS might take much less time (and much less frustration) than a cleansing. And in my opinion, I save my gadget exceedingly lean and advise... i do unlike working all those anti-spyware and anti-virus classes (which I relatively have finished interior the previous), they take up helpful materials and gradual the completed gadget down. besides the undeniable fact that, if the susceptible hyperlink is between the seat and the keyboard! Then an anti-virus & anti-spyware software is in all probability a sturdy suggestion!!! ;-P

WinAntiVirus appears to use aggresive and deceptive advertising and despite several attempts to contact the company, they never responded to any of them.

O.k before anyone goes out and says that this is ad-ware spy-ware malware or a rip off. I work for Winantivirus my self and i know for a fact this program is NOT any of the above. when you buy from a pop up you are setting your self up for trouble no matter what product you DL. only reason they target our product is because of the WIN in front of the name. PPL see WIN think windows and thinks it o.k. but winantivirus/winantispyware are not a rip off in any ways. but back to the question, only thing you have to do is call 8007555909 and go through the questions then when a rep answers just give them your e-mail address you used to buy and or your order ID and we will send out a e-mail with a link to DL it. o.k it's just that easy but everyone that says its everything under the sun need to learn the facts about virus software before they open there mouth. Heres a little fact, every virus software company will set there software up to read others a virus to make you remove the comp and keep theres. A little food for thought.
