Am I a freak for still liking green day, even their recent album?

If you're a freak for liking them, then so am I. Oh, wait, I was already a freak anyway. But I've been a fan of Green Day since I first heard them way back in the 90's. I grew up with their music, and I thought American Idiot was a great piece of musical history. I haven't heard their new disc yet.

I love Green Day - old and new stuff - although of course it's all very different. I think the old stuff is more punk and the new stuff is much more commercialized. However, if you like them, you like them. I only really got to know about them when the American Idiot album came out in the UK, loved that and decided to get their old stuff too (although my husband told me I wouldn't like it becuase it was 'too punky'!). Well, he was wrong - I like it all. However, I must admit there are certain songs I like more than others - a mix of old and new stuff. All I need to do now is find a friend (or convince my husband) to come to a conert with me!

Yes! Green Day has only had 1 or maybe 2 good songs.

no, i think its normal. i used to be obess with various of artists. its really normal. mostly the songs are addicting and well maybe they just sing good, so its normal. liking green day is perfectly normal. you just like them, its fine. other people are like that too. its just not only you.

no, they just consistently pump out good songs. although i do seem to like there older albums compared to there most recent debuts.

no. i havent really listened to their new one yet. i know a few songs. i used to love them :) it doesnt matter what kind of music people like its their life their choice of music :)
