Of course it represents a negative image, mostly because most rap videos are like that (now). Gangsta rap is/was just a sub genre of hip hop music that has become representative of the genre (at least in most people eyes) Nothing about being a gangsta(er) says positivity. The difference is other depictions of the gangsta life style humanizes the participants better (Godfather, Sopranos). Rappers do a bad job at this, & are discouraged by their record companies because they feel the fans of "gangsta rap" (majority suburban, white kids/people ironically) don't want a more balance description of black people in the so-called hood. The record companies don't sign as many or promote positve rappers (see: Talib Kweli, Common, Rymefest, the Roots) who produce creative, diverse & positive music and whom are accritically acclaimed. Plus these same suburban kids (even many black women) don't buy nearly as much of their music. Rap in the 80's and early 90's was much more diverse. Good to see others are concerned about the plight of black women & aren't just looking for examples to verify their negative perception of black people.

Rich Boy isn't representing the African American Community as a whole. In that video he is representing his status in monetary value. Which someone is likely to do if they are poor all their life and suddenly start making hundreds of thousands of dollars. Plus you don't even know if that is the type of person he is. I don't know for sure but he is most likely just trying to be "Hollywood Ghetto" in order to support his image which supports his record sales.

Exactly, we are INDIVIDUALS, we all have our own different styles. He represents his family and his community not all Black people. Does Britney Spears, Paris Hilton and Lindsey Lohan represent all White people? No, so how can Rich Boy represent all Black people.
