Secondary Infertility is very common--many women assume they can get pg because they have 1 or more children already, but this is not always true.

As for what a dr can do for you now--the general recommendation is to wait 1 year if you have regular cycles and have no reason to believe you will have trouble getting pregnant. If your cycles are irregular, you think your partner may have a sperm problem, or you have ever had an STD or PID or anything else that may lead you to think you may have trouble getting pg. then you should see a dr now. They can do bloodwork to check your hormones and thyroid levels. They can have your partner do a semen analyasis, they can try fertility drugs, do ultrasounds to check your ovaries and uterus, etc.
The first thing you need to do is to make sure you are ovulating and timing intercourse properly. Start charting your BBT--basal body temps (www.fertilityfriend.com) and get the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler.

They wont be too worried. Go back to the doctor when it's been 12 months. You are not considered to be having trouble TTC until then. It's 6 months if you are above 30. Good luck
