I'd like to personally meet...how do I discretely address an invite without appearing "too "...?

There are a couple of ways:
1. just come out and tell him/her? and make it really enticing with a nice picture of yourself.
2. play it "nice" and ask a pile of questions and hope they get the hint....
personally, I like the first choice.

Flattery will get you everywhere. I assume that if you want to meet your friend, you have had some communications with him/her. In which case, I would simply ask. Hey, I think you're a neat person and would like to meet you. Would you be interested in meeting at ________?

Try to find a common ground and then suggest lunch if the friend lives close to you. Flirt, flirt, and flirt that always helps!

go for it just ask them to meet you somewhere if they say yes it might be best to go out to lunch or something in a public place where there is plenty of people around there is alot of crazy people out there
