Hi all,
I have a 7 and a half month old boy who seems to have been teething for a couple of months, but I can't see any teeth yet. He drools a lot and wants to chew everything, he doesn't seem to have any pain or swollen gums though. How long does the process of "teething" take?
Thankyou!

Well, it really depends on your child. The teeth come in slowly, but once they break through, it no longer hurts. Buy some baby anbesol. That works wonders! Good luck!

It varies a LOT from child to child. My son started teething at 6 months or so, and by 8 months he had ALL of his teeth through is six-year-molars! Other kids drool for months and don't get their first tooth until they're 11 or 12 months.

Teething can occur at any age!!! The process is really fast!! He will have swollen gums, slobber alot and a couple days later have teeth cutting in. your son sounds like he is teething but his teeth are being stubborn and not wanting to cut in. Give it a couple more days!!!

every child is differerent
the story that was told to me is that the older they are when they get their teeth the healthier they will be
they can start from3-8 months
you will see a difference i

you cangive tylnol for pain or gum stuff and rub it on his gums to help himwhil he is teething

Yep sounds like teething to me, try teething rusks ect: every baby/ child has its own body clock. The teeth will cut through when ready.

For two months my MIL and her mom would run their finger's on my son's gums and say "Oh yeah less than a week".

It took two months. Two months of pain etc. It can take a fair amount of time.
