Speaking slowly and clearly until you don't stutter anymore. Unless it's an actual disability, most of the time people who stutter just aren't sure of where they are going.

If you are having a hard time pronouncind a certain word, try singing the word. I do that whenever I have trouble pronouncing a word I have trouble with. It does help a lot. Also, try just saying the word very slowly and "punch" out the syllables--CIN-NA-MON. It sounds silly but it helps me out a great deal.
If your stuttering is not a speach problem and it only happens when your acting, it's probably just nerves. If it's a speech problem, try to find somebody who specializes in that, whether it be a voice and articulation coach or a speech therapist.
But try and take a class that helps with voice and articulation--that helps every actor with stage articulation and vocal projection.
Best wishes!!!!

Check out The Stuttering Foundation of America at www.stutteringhelp.org and you'll find tips, brochures, referrals to speech therapists, and libraries that shelve their books and DVDs. They have online DVDs, too. My uncles and cousins who stuttered got the most help from their book "Self Therapy for the Stutterer."

I knew an actor who had a horrible stutter. But - he never stuttered while performing (or rehearsing). Very often stuttering vanishes when performing something you've memorized. As for the pronunciation - just practice over and over.

See if you can find a speech therapist to work with; they're particularly skilled at working with issues like that.

There are vocal exercises you can do that will help. Look in the library for acting books with vocal exercies.
Singing training will also be very helpful.
