Hi there.

There is a way you can take your SAT for free. I will explain.

If you have free or reduced lunch at school, you could be eligible to receive a fee waiver. You can actually have upto 4 waivers I believe. 2 for SAT reasoning test, and 2 for subject tests.

Go talk to your guidance counselor for more information. Your counselor should give you a fee waiver if you're eligible. Once you have it, I'd recommand you register online for your SAT. It's a lot faster and easier.

Good luck.

Talk to your school counselor about an SAT fee waiver. You can take two SATs for free, if you have low income.

You can not use a fee waiver to register late, so you'll need to act on this ASAP if you plan to test yet this year.

Some colleges will honor the SAT fee waiver for their college application fee.

So don't be shy. See your school counselor tomorrow.
Good luck!
