When do tickets go on sale of the 2007 ozzfest. I know they are free, but do you still need one to get in? Also, I read they are not coming to the montage mountain(Scranton, PA) and then on another page it says they are coming there on 7/30. Can someone please explain all this?

go to the official ozzfest website, ozzfest.com , for the details.

"To gain entry into this year's OZZFEST, fans will go to ozzfest.com or livenation.com to find links that will direct them to special sponsor sites where tickets can be secured. Select sponsors will have a unique opportunity to engage fans one-on-one utilizing one of music's best known brands. Tickets will be available for download on June 12. Stay tuned to ozzfest.com and livenation.com in the coming weeks for more ticketing information."

also, it seems any seats will be first come first seated, and "move your feet lost your seat". nothing reserved.

the only PA shows are as follows -

08/22/2007 WED Tweeter Center, Philadelphia, PA
08/24/2007 FRI Post Gazette Pavilion, Pittsburgh, PA

I'm sure the venue will have to have some way of keeping track of the number of bodies that walk through the gates... even outdoor venues have a "seating capacity." As far as when and where a certain show is coming to your area, music industry insiders (places like Pollstar.com) usually know when a tour is announced, even if some venues have yet to announce an "on-sale" date or even a specific show date. Things like OZZFEST - free or not - are mapped out and scheduled months in advance (in some cases, a tour like this will be planned and scheduled shortly after the final date of the previous year's tour). Hope that helps.

Warped. it rather is nonetheless with reference to the followers. Plus there people normally care approximately eachother. as quickly as I crumple at specially any pit at Warped there is gonna be somebody there to help me up. If I fall in a pit at Ozzfest there is gonna be somebody there to stomp on me.

rumor has it that the first 10,000 people get in free for general admission seats, but if you want to be somewhere other than nose bleed section, you'll want to buy tickets first.
