I am so tired of her "You like me? You really like me?!" act....and I have never heard of any of the songs she chooses. She may be one of the best singers, but she is BY FAR the most annoying! Jordan Sparks is a close second in that category. Who else agrees?

i completely agree! it was nice in the beginning to see someone being modest and humble, but i think she's taking it overboard now. i truely believe it's an act. she does have a great voice, but i dont see her as the next american idol. no one listens to donna summer or whitney houston type songs anymore. if she wins, that's what kind of record she'd put out, and i cant see many people buying it!
i think gina should win for the girls. she has a great voice and can definately sell albums. she'd be like the next "pink" who has done very well for herself.
if you want to see humble, look at lakisha. she know's she has a good voice but doesn't get cocky about it. she takes compliments well and doesn't let it all go to her head.
i honestly dont care much for melinda anymore and could care less if she gets voted off.
naturally though, i'd like to see sanGAYa voted off tomorrow though.

This is how I stand on it:
I AM tired of her acting surprised when getting positive comments. I am not her biggest fan. Yes, she is an excellent singer, however, if she wins, no one is going to buy her album. Every week she chooses songs from the past or soul/ classic R&B. That kind of monotony gets boring. Jordan, on the other hand has an excuse cuz she's only seventeen (and from my home town!). Plus, as she proved tonight, she could sing music that people actually want to buy. No offense to Melinda, but look at Reuban, Fantasia, and Taylor. All great singers but minimum success.

i totally disagree....i think she is truly surprised and humbled...she is getting more confident now..but i dont think it is an act at all...
i have heard of many of the songs she chooses, and if i havent she captivates me with them.
i think she is great. not my favorite. but up there.
oh and its a singing competition...so her being the best singer will get her farther

i totally disagree i bet you are one of the losers who keeps voting for that dork sanjaya who cant sing and never has but yet he is still here but people like Melinda and Jordan who have talent and deserve to be there are going home one by one and it stinks and if America somehow votes that sanjaya in as the winner or even the top 3 i fear next year not many fans will be watching anymore its like Simon said tonight it doesn't really matter what he says meaning you suck but yet your still here.... some people are really shy and don't believe they are good and i think Melinda is for real...
