Be sure that you are not soaking a maxi pad in less than an hour; that's a sign of hemorraging. (I had a miscarriage 2 summers ago. I feel for your loss as well. Our bodies go through hell sometimes!)
If you are not bleeding that much and not running a fever, you should be fine. Any moderate cramping can be treated with ibuprofen (Advil). Should you continue steady bleeding, like a heavy period, longer than Friday, call the physician that did your proceedure.
Take care of yourself,
Mon :-)

The size of the clots seems normal to me. I had the same "procedure" 3 years ago. I remember having clots for a little while afterwards. Anytime a woman has clots its a scary thing...even after pregnancy (which I have gone through as well). And I think its really awesome that you just came out and asked your question. I know how youre feeling...its hard. And anytime you are feeling apprehensive about a particular symptom don't hesitate to call the Dr.

I wouldn't worry to much about losing that amount. Give it a couple of days and if you are still passing them call your doctor. Avoid tampons at all costs for your next few periods as your risk of TSS is increased at the moment. If the blood is bright red you might have an infection so go to your doctor today, if not it what you have described sound fairly normal.
Your brave posting this question!
I hope you don't get too hurt by the comments you are undoubtedly going to receive.
Stay strong.....

This is normal if it is not associated with severe cramping, excessive bleeding (one pad an hour) or if the clots are white or greenish.
Feel better.

if it gets any worse you should call you ob/gyn. it's probably the the trama that your body went through. but it could be parts of your baby that the person that did the abortion left behind. i hope you're ok
