The vena cava, the main artery through the center of your body that supplies all of your organs, also supplies your baby in there. And when the baby starts getting bigger in there, it can sometimes pinch off the supply! That's one of the reasons it's suggested that pregnant women lie on their side to sleep, to avoid putting all of the baby's weight on that artery all night long, possibly reducing the amount of blood, oxygen, nutrients, etc. If you change positions or get up and move around to get your blood flowing again, it should go back to normal quickly. ;)
It's also possible the baby is pushing against a nerve, which can cause pain and/or numbness. This is more common in the lower back, lower pelvis, and thighs. It can be helpful to get on all fours and do those back-arching exercises to get the baby to move off the sensitive area.
Congratulations, and best of luck!

Yes absolutely...
Also women can have numbness or tingling in their legs, feet, back, even arm, etc. The baby (especially as it grows and increases in weight) can easily be sitting on or near a nerve and it is exactly the sensation you describe.
Good luck to you... believe me, holding that baby will be worth every little (and big) bother that it took for him/her to get here!

Yes! Try shifting around, big belly gets in the way (I know!) and can cut off some circulation. Rotate your position or get up and walk around for a minute, bend over, stretch a little (as best you can) and try to get things going. Tingling means poor circulation, which could mean your baby isn't getting enough blood (oxygen!) it may need to be getting.

Baby is probably just pressing against your blood supply, and putting part of your stomach to sleep. Try shifting positions.
I wouldn't worry about it, dear. :)

The baby is most likely sitting on something and your not getting enough blood flow to that section which puts it in the asleep feeling. Nothing to worry about.
