If you only had sex in December and it was protected then there is very little chance that you are pregnant. When a woman becomes pregnant, her body releases a hormone that prevents her from having a menstrual period. In rare cases women will continue to have periods during the first trimester but they are usually noticably lighter and bleeding may indicate a high-risk pregnancy. If you are concerned you are pregnant, take a test but your period is probably just late or skipped due to an outside factor like stress, fatigue or excessive exercise. I wouldn't worry.

There is always a chance of getting pregnant if you are having sex, whether it be protected or not. If your periods were fairly normal in January and February, then it drops the likelyhood that you are pregnant. However, it is not unheard of women having their period while pregnant. I had my period the first month after I conceived with my first child and had no clue I was pregnant until I was almost 8 weeks. If you are more than 1 week late, then I would advise you to take a home pregancy test to see if you are pregnant. If it comes back negative, then you are most likely not pregnant. If that still doesn't set your mind at ease, go to the doctor and get a blood test. I hope everything turns out well.

Periods are often sporadic. This happened to me once and the doctor said that stress and lifestyle changes such as a new diet and exercise could cause this. If you're worried, go to the doctor or take a home pregnancy test just to be sure. My period went back to normal the next month.

It is not unusual to have a period while you are pg. Since you are worried, just get a home pg test and give yourself piece of mind.

Not possible and I don't care how many people will give you stupid answers like "Yes you can" because you *can't*.
(As long as you are saying that December was the LAST sex you had and you didn't have sex in Jan & Feb)
