My nipples have been so sore the shower hurts, my shirt hurts, and I've gone up a size in my bra. My husband and I are not yet trying to conceive, but wondered if I was pregnant. The test comes up negative. What could be the other reason for my breast issue?

I experienced the same thing with my breasts. They were more sore than they usually are around the time my period was suppose to come. When the shower hit it hurt, if I brushed up against something they hurt. My areola got very dark as well. I took a preg. test a week after my period was scheduled and I am now 6 weeks. You could still possibly be pregnant you may just not have enough hormone in your urine to be detected. Test again if AF does not arrive.

Last month I was the same way. I know how you feel...and shortly after that two weeks of pain I got my period, EARLY. I'm talking a WEEK early. It's never happened before. That was the 15th of this month. And guess what, my breasts are still KILLING ME! So I'm going to have to guess and say your period is on the way.

It might just be pms symtoms.. I usually get tender/sore breasts abt a week before period due. If u r worried, pls seek professional advice.

If you are not pregnant then it could be PMS symptons. I get sore breasts before I get my periods. Some months you can't touch them. It's nothing unussual
