I bought an HP dv2000 series about 2 months ago and am already having issues. Sent it out TWICE to the manufacturer to get it fixed but came back both times with the same defects.

I'd like a full money refund but HP says they can't refund my money but will replace the laptop it instead.

Doesn't this go against the "Magnusson Moss Warranty Act??"

When you buy a product there is always a Guarantee or Warranty card which says about terms and conditions. If it is written in case of inferior or defective good item purchased will be replaced by the same one then you got no choice but to get the same item or if the same item is not available then they could refund you in full.

They don't care about Magnusson Moss Warranty Act, they care about their term of services.

If you haven't read that please read.

I had a Dell laptop, and have been given undesirable, misinformed tech help on a similar time as i attempted to interchange an ultimately irreplaceable keyboard. I won't get yet yet another Dell! I certainly have an HP that i admire very lots - there grew to become desirable right into a motherboard venture that HP dealt with very directly away and effectively. i'm happy!
