I just got a pair of plaid shorts, and I was wondering what traits one should have to wear plaid, and not look stupid.

i love plaid, i think that it's "in" now, or at least it's a little more acceptable...frankly, i think that it's okay to wear plaid as long as your overall image doesn't scream NERD
not that anything's wrong w/ being a nerd, i'm quite dorkish myself (then again, being a dork is different than being a nerd.....

it can be worn with a shirt that has at least one of the colors from the plaid.

anyone can wear plaid. It depends on your personality how it will be recieved by others. You can be punk, you can be academic, you can make it hip hop, you can make is surfer casual etc.

make sure they end below ur knees. also, don't wear very long socks, and wear basketball shoes. if ur avatar looks exactly like u, then it would be perfect!
