The ghosts always seem to be wearing clothes? Do they need clothes in the afterlife? Does this mean clothes have an afterlife, too? oooooooohhh, freaky, huh? Maybe we all have to answer for how we treated our underwear and such.

What if you died with dirty underwear on and you had to wear them for eternity.
Rough, huh?

Hi. Really good question!
I have researched ghosts and even tried my hand at ghost hunting and here is what I believe:
There are several paranormal manifestations that people call ghosts. One of them is identified by ghost hunters as "imprints". This is the type where someone sees a "ghost" that appears to be stuck in a loop like a portion of a movie being played back over and over again. This "ghost" is passive and does not interact with our world but rather seems to be oblivious to our presence. The most common are manifestations at historic battlefields such as Gettysburg where many claim to see soldiers from the civil war. I think these "imprints" are visual "echoes" so to speak, and not souls at all. That would explain the clothes which are simply a part of the "visual echo". This is the most common type of ghost experience and it is not to be confused with the other types which appear to interact with the living. Those that interact are, in my opinion, entities which may include demons. Why these would wear clothes is a mystery.
If you are serious about your question, and I think it's a great one, I highly recommend any book on the paranormal by Joshua P. Warren. I especially recommend How To Hunt Ghosts and Pet Ghosts by this author and expert on the paranormal. He has addressed your question in his books and has a very practical approach when it comes to exploring ghosts. He also has a website you can visit called LEMUR.COM.
Good luck! I hope this helps.

I think you're speaking of Photoshop work where users blend two photos together and make the "ghost" transparent in a certain environment by reducing the opacity of the top image. In others you see light trails (easy to do with a flashlight and slow shutter speed) or "orbs" created by dust on the camera lens or in the air.
I propose a third possibility: There are no such things as ghosts.
Later: And yes, I think it would be awful to wear the same underwear for eternity. Fortunately, I don't believe in ghosts. :-)

Its no longer mild pondered from the door because then you really could manage to work out the realm on the door that the mild pondered on. except the spirit harms you in any respect you may not call a mystical investigator. If any room of the residing house is very chilly then that is the position the spirit is. for sure an outstanding form of cases are only a set of concepts tricks by way of an abnormal earth pastime.

Because there's a clause in the Ghost Union's by-laws that forbids ghosts from appearing in the nude. The only one who is allowed to appear in the nude is Marilyn Monroe.

I think they probably appear in what they died in, or possibly buried in. I guess that means we should always wear clean underwear, and clothes that don't have a huge stain on it!

Hahah...interesting question.
I would have to say that they wear what they wore during a proper or unproper burial. In other words, you wear what you were displayed as in the burial.
Your only nakey if your cremated, I believe thats why those nakey ghosts are so shy to be caught in a picture I believe. :D

Most ghosts are seen in the clothes that they died in. Unless they um....died in the shower. :-)
