Okay, here is one of my poems that havent been published yet, but I have already had three poems published, and the editors choice award for one fo them, so here is one of the poems I hope to get published:
Title: Escape
To escape into a world of adventure
where imigination and love soars
I would like to live in a fairy tale world
kiss a frog and get a prince
But our worlds not like that
its dangerous and full of war
to escape into a world of adventure
where imgination and love soars

I would be more impressed if you'd taken the time to check your spelling and the rhythm of the poem. It limps. Read it out loud, then fix it.
If your poems have been published on poetry.com, it's time you move on to real markets. Get a copy of POET'S MARKET and start submitting. You WILL get rejections, but a rejection from a real market counts more in the publilshing world than an acceptance or even an award from poetry.com.

Dear, if you HATE critics then don't ASK for criticism. When you place your "work," (and I use the term loosely here) in front of an audience, you are going to get people who will tell you what it's really worth. In this case, nothing! What you are looking for is ego-stroking to make you feel good. Sorry, none here for this usual teenage nonsense that has no sense of style, rhythm, or punctuation! You DID NOT HAVE 3 poems published, because those on line sites are NOT real publishing. They take everyone garbage.

You know what? I write poems and also had one published and also got the editors choice award. This was through poetry.com, and I am curious of there legitimacy now. But I didn't have the money they asked for to go to Las Vegas for their annual convention. My poem was either good, or I was scammed. But I have been writing poems for a couple decades now in private, until I sent the poem to them last year. It makes me wonder.

Yawn.
What horse hockey.
Please, for your dignity, under no circumstances try to get more people to read this inane drivel.
Have a Nice day!

A Dream
Once a dream did weave a shade
O'er my angel-guarded bed,
The emmet lost its way
Where on grass methought i lay.
Troubled,wildereed,and forlorn,
Dark,benighted,travel-worn,
Over many a tangle spray,
All heart-broke, i heard her say:
"Oh my children! do they cry,
Do they hear their father sigh?
Now they look abroad to see,
Now return and weep for me."
Pitying, i dropped a tear:
But i saw a child near,
Who replied,"What wailing wight
Why such pain be caused this night?
Then fast so suddenly
The world went black no one could see
then i awoke lying in my bed
it was nothing but a dream to dread

It's bland. But if you're only a teen, then it's good; it's a hell of a lot better than what I was writing as a teen :)
