If she runs out of song ideas, then she has to dance until she destructs. She starts to destruct since her final secret is revealed, that she was in heaven when she returned to mortality, not some demonic hell dimension as her friends believed, then Spike saves her with the lyrical "big finish" to her song, so she no longer needs to dance. He sets off to save her in the previous song, but gets hit with a dead end walking the wrong direction.....

Once More With Feeling really rocks! It's my favourite episode, I think. Definitely in the top ten!
