Yamaha siad the reason for my carb shootting gas out was becase the weather changed so quickly thet they still have not changed from winter to summer time gas.

Not sure where you live but this is a load of SH%$%^ take it to another dealer even if not a Yamaha ... sounds more like a choke or float problem could be something even simpler ...

sorry for your trouble but yea you knew it sound like a load of poop and it I would take to another shop or break out a Haynes or Chilton's and go through the trouble shooting guide.

Dude!Gas is gas! what u need dto do is "set ur carb for the seasons&tempertature &climate.it's the settings on your carb not the gasoline!some one is playing with ur head! If gas is shooting out of carb ur carb needs adjustments in the floats inside it .u might need some one like me who doe's this kind of work>just on carbs>they r gonna rack u with a good bill .the job is time consuming but It can be done .see if u can find a 'didtch "to fix it fr u carb repair kits r sold at auto parts stores .get back to me if u want more answers about carbs!

Some heavily populated areas have regulations that require additional ethanol to be added to the gas during summer months to curb emissions.

that's bs they don't change gas any diffrent from winter to summer,i have a friend that works at a plant in texas city tx,he said theres no way they just don't know what theyre doing!

I have never heard of that, sounds like the float is stuck open
