How old were you????

i was probably around 13 or 14 when i bought my first thong....i thought they were cool looking and would be great under some of my sexier clothes so i got some....i had a job so my mom really didn't care what i did as long as i was responsible with my money and didn't blow it on stupid stuff.....and i love them.....now i have a whole dresser draw filled with underwear mostly thongs, bikinis, and g- strings...that only time i wear fuller underwear is that time of the month.....if you like them then wear them....it is your body and you can wear pretty much what you want......

I was in my 20's, but they didn't have thongs when I was younger. As far as what my mom thought about it, she was just glad I was wearing underwear. My daughter is almost 12 and she doesn't wear thongs, she has never asked for them. If she asked for them I would talk to her about it...I am honestly not sure how I would feel about it or if I would let her get them.

My mom actually offered to buy me thongs, and I was 14.

i think i was 14 or something. i got them ad told my mom. at first she was like "umm why would you wear them? just walking around with something up your butt..." but she was cool about it. I am now 19 and have sooooo many thongs. and the cool part is... most of them were bought when i went shopping with my mom. she still finds it weird that ANYBODY wears them, but she accepts the fact that I like them. and for what it's worth, i don't find them uncomfortable :P

UGH thongs suck. I'm 19 & refuse to wear them!!

To answer your Q though, I was about 16 the first time I wore one & yes my mom did know.

I was about 15 I think. My mom knew as it is not considered "sexual" material unless personally make it out to be, to which, wasn't my reasoning. I just wanted to wear something that didn't show panty lines etc. My mom was like "uh, why? Might as well not wear anything" lol. Now she calls them "sling shots".

I was 15. I went underware shopping for the first time on my own, and my friends went to La Senza and convinced me to try them. My mom saw and sighed, but she didn't care too much. She just teased me that when I was pissed off, she could now say I truly had something up my bum. lol. I'm 19 now, and I definately prefer boy shorts instead. My mom was right, butt floss just isn't what it's cracked up to be :P

i was 12 my older sis was like 16 and she worked so she bought them for me and when my mom found out she threw them out saying i was too young....so then thats when i started doing my own laundry and she even to this day im 20 out the house and married still doesnt like them lol....she says how can u wear a string up ur a$$ lol

well...being that I am a guy...i was wearing thongs on my feet and went to school,....they were real nice leather thongs...not the pretty pink ones ...although back in the early 90s..there weren't as many thongs as there are today.,..

so..maybe i was about 15-16?

I never wore thongs as I thought they were sick and made girls look like prostitutes. And thankfully my daughters won't be wearing anything sexy like that either once I have them since my husband's country doesn't make revealing clothing.
