I’ve just returned from a ride on my car (Audi 90) and I got a problem. Front left wheel does not spinning smooth. It makes a feeling that instead a wheel there is an egg. It is shaking my car a little bit between 0-40 mph. A wheel looks good and not going to fall off I hope. :) What is wrong?

This could be any of a myriad of things.
1. Unbalanced tire
2. Bent rim - possibly from hitting something like a curb or parking block
3. Worn ball joints, or struts

or several other issues.

However, if it just started performing this way suddenly, you more than likely have a tire with a broken belt. The best thing to do is take it to a mechanic who is a front end alignment specialist and let him look at it. He (or she) will be able to tell what exactly is the problem or problems are.

God these people will tell you to get an alignment for anything. Anyway: loose wheel, out of balance, bad tire, with the first and the last being the most likely. Good luck.

Wheel alignment, flat spot on tire, tire out of balance, improper inflation, bubble under tread or any number of suspension problems. Take it to a good mechanic or tire shop. Either should be able to check it out and tell you what is wrong.

Mechanic<<< Could be many things... Such as, bad strut, ball joint, damaged tire core, etc. You will need to take it to an alignment shop where they will check the suspension and alignment.

The wheel probobly is out of balance.(or bent if you hit a curb or pothole)
Better check and make sure the lugs are tight first though.
