Howdy yall i just started picking up electric guitar and i was wondering what would be a good choice for beginners in terms of starting out

You should find a good instructor to give you some beginner lessons. That way you make sure to learn the proper techniques as opposed to just making it up and possibly picking up some bad habits. Learn basic music theory dont bite off more than you can chew. First , basic music theory teaches you to use your ears, and you understand how a song is put together. I would recommend ascoutic guitar to start out because it builds up finger strengh quicker, and you can hear a mistake while a electric guitar is easier on the hands to play, but it seems ascoutic guitar is better to pratice or fiddle with since 90% of the sound comes from the hands and not the gear.
