Do you use manners like saying "please" and "thank you", opening doors for people, etc.?

I am extremely polite. I don't even curse in public around older people....but it doesn't mean that I am a push over. I can be assertive and aggressive. I have an anger problem, and being polite helps me manage it. If someone bumps into me, I may excuse myself to avoid kicking them in the face. It is win win.

Usually men do open doors in the beginning courting stage but then drop off. A real gentleman (which is few and far between) will always do this. Please and thank you are a must at all times for everybody.Yes, I am usually polite but I have bad days like everyone.

this is a bad question because everyone knows that in modern days people don't have te best manners. but nobody will admit that here, so they will either lie or not answer. you are not getting a real answer. you're just surveying the people who want to answer (the people with good manners). clearly this excludes a few ppl who answered no.

Thanks for asking! Yes, I am one of the most polite people you could ever meet. My Mother taught me from the start how important good manners are, and being helpful!! It just amazes me how many people will let the door slam in your face, and not hold it for you. I appreciate your question! Thanks again!

Absolutely, manners are the best. I'm always being courteous to everyone I meet; some people think it's weird but people do appreciate things like it.

YES!...but I do have a tendencies to go off on people who act stupid for stupids sake...I'm not calling you one I have just seen a bunch of people today like that and I'm making a statement that there is a reason people are sent to school for so many years...to knock the stupid out of them!

Yes, and I like them, and I pass them (manners) on to my child. I find it to be more common than most people complain about.
Rarely do I find that someone is impolite, but I do notice it and wonder....

Yes. Sometimes I wonder why though. It seems like most people aren't polite nowadays.

yes all the time. It's a habit. If I didn't say it, I would feel bad for not saying it in the first place then think about it all day...
