it isnt true that someone has to physically come into your house in order to hack into your PC .....tell ur parents to check the security settings on your computer...make sure ur not 'sharing' files...U can lock ur major drives ........my computer was hacked into a few yrs ago in a MAJOR WAY.....it went beyond hacking and went on for 2yrs..this person was able to see EVERYTHING I DID ONLINE! they changed settings on my computer...even locked me out...I had to keep resetting!!! if ur using Hi-speed internet like we do ...make sure u turn it off when ur not using it....im sure ur parents wont take this lightly...they shouldn't ....make sure they check ur security settings....make sure ur not sharing...we just found our neighbor shares...his computer is totally OPEN for the world to access...NUTS......and we were able to see his files!!! pic.s..music etc etc....take it from me....dont 'share..' if u dont know what to do....call ur provider and just tell them....they should be able to walk u thru changing ur settings.......U still have to get whoever that IS in ur computer out.....which is the hard part..I still dont know who was in ours...or why...but they were EVIL!!..a lot of programs miss embeded files that steal ur info..or spy .....u guys may need to just get a new hard drive....thats what we ended up doing........we also chaged ALL of our email addresses it may be wise btw to let ur mom read this.....Good Luck!!!

Don't download anything from the internet for protection. Most of the free software you can download are useless. The only thing you can do with them is scan your system. You can't get rid of the person hacking.

Don't blame yourself.

all of us who use internet are open to others knowing who, where and what we are doing.
Not sure if there is anything one can use to prevent this from happening, but I recollect, there are precautions one can take.
Not sure, but if you go to google and look up areas such as, internet security or online, whatever, you will find your answer.
