I don't think they've resolved that yet. Last I remember, there was a wrongful death suit going on.
Just watched last night's episode. The city settled the lawsuit out of court for $2.5M and next week's like a continuation of this storyline.

In thursday's episode Grissom informs Greg that the city decised to settle with the family for 2.5 million. And Greg was upset because he felt that they had "thrown him under the bus"
And next week it looks like the family is back for more nail biting action!!!

The civil suit against Greg is still ongoing. He made a reference to it still ongoing just before the show went on hiatus for the NCAA March Madness

It was ruled as self defense. And the "victims'" brother is going to pop up in an upcoming episode.

yeah is is up and doing fine it think in the very next episode
it is amazing how people recove on csi
eric delco was dead and he was all healed and back to work by the next week
i wish i would heal that fast

I don't think they have come back with a judgement on that case yet. He still goes to court quite a bit.

Yep, ruled as self defense but now they're sueing him in civil court, or something like that.
