Mexicans and Brazil Have More Green Eyed People?

Mexicans and Brazil have more green eyed people than Americans??
In my home town in Mexico, there are a lot of green eyed mexicans and grayed eyed people. Not to mention we also have blue eyed people:

In California, I rarely saw an american with green eyes. Only once did I see one with green eyes and she was a girl with olive skin color, black hair and has an italian surname.

I mostly seen americans with blue eyes in California. I never have been to other parts of the USA.
