ok well i have cingular and i have a pink razr..and no wi think its broken..so im oging to go get it fixed.....but we do have warrenty so i might get a phone..but i was wondering is u have warrenty do u have to gte the same kind of phone or can u get a new phone..and does cingular have the sidekick???????? thank u

I can answer that from how Verizon does it. I would guess the policy is fairly similar. First they try to fix it. If you still have problems they exchange for the same model. If you still have problems and are good at raising a stink they pretty much give you what you want.

I think the keys to sucess here, are the ability to make an effective stink to a manager...in other words complain in a forceful way not taking no for an answer, but still being nice enough that they want to help you. If you aren't great at that I'd bring a friend who is. And if you hit a brick wall, ask how to reach a district manager. Generally if they see you aren't going to take no for an answer they will cave in. And of course you can always try different stores/managers lolol

the only way you can get another one is if its discontinued. they do not have a sidekick.


you should ask and see if you can a little more and get a different phone.
