Breast can hurt at anytime. But some womens breast can hurt before, and or during. Mine hurt a day or two before. Then when I start my period they stop. If yours are hurting try keeping your bra on all the time. I've noticed that helps a lot.

Oh YEAH! My menstruating days are behind me but boy did I get swelling and pain before each period. Also, when you get pregnant that is THE way to know that you ae pregnant beside a missed period. The hormones kick in and your breasts hurt REALLY badly!

It's not uncommon for women's breasts to be sensitive just before or at the start of their period, it's just a part of it like bloating, being irritable, and craving chocolate.

Your breasts will hurt usually because of the hormones that are preparing for the body to be pregnant. That's why we have periods...to prepare for children.
The hormones spike, and all havok breaks lose with our bodies. It's a fact of life.

PMS makes my breasts hurt a lot.
I have small fibroids in my breasts, and for some reason anything that is caffeinated makes it worse.
I also start taking Ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin) as soon as PMS symptoms strike.

Good luck

Breast pain is very common the week prior to and the first few days of a woman's period.
If you are having this issue, avoid caffeine and drink plenty of water. Both should help!

They do hurt during period and pregnancy. It's a hormonal thing, I guess.
