with hybrid compacts.....?

No, I like to sit higher up so I can see through heavy traffic better. Plus i feel safer with a larger vehicle with my 1 year old. But I always DO but a compact/sub SUV. Not the big honkin ones.

I've never owned a suv. I have a small 4x4 pickup and a compact car. I would consider a hybrid if it was also flex-fuel capable.

it depends on the cost of the hybrid compacts... if the cost was low and it proved itself in gas milage and crash test... sure!
