Do you need to know a band in order to work on warped tour, or is there some place you can sign up?

Any suggestions or ideas?

Your best bet would be to have some sort of connection with bands that will be playing on Warped or know non-band members who work on Warped.

Join the 'Street Team' for one of the bands on the tour. Through this you will gain access to the tour at your home town.

Start by looking at the websites of the lesser known bands on the tour and youll find postings for guys wanted to handout free stickers and stuff related to the band as well as promote the heck out of the latest release. These are your Street Teamers.

I've done it. It works.

Generally from people i know on the tou, you have to know a band, unless you get a job with one of the sponsering companies and they hire you for the road. That's the best advice i can give you

My friends worked at a concert last year, they said you can just show up earlier in the morning and they'll ask you if you want to work.
