its depends on how you want to pronounce it. nick-o-lay or nick-o-lee would be cute, but teachers always pronounce names wrong, it it may be embarassing later. if you put an accent mark above the e, it would make more sense. call her lee.
you asked for creative, lol.
I personally, want to have one mroe daughter and name her charlotte, and call her charlie. my cousin and i are on this baby kick where we call girls boys' nicknames for short. Try to think of some that do it, like andrea is andy etc.

I dont see how Leena could be a nickname for Nicole since there is not sign of Leena in there - Hi my name is Marie call me Candy?
If you want to use Leena then go w Nikolena - I know someone named that but she goes by Nikki!

The nickname Leena would only go with Nicholeena, not Nichole as that nickname would be Nichie. How about the name Gisella, with the nickname Gia? Or Angeline with nickname Angel? Or Joangelie, nickname Jo-Jo? Or Joni, just Joni? Good luck!

i don't really understand the question...i don't think that leena is a good nickname for Nichole...I don't care for Nicholeena at all. would that be the name or the nickname?
how about Nicolette?
Nichole nicknames would be Nicky, Nik, Cole

Nicknames can be whatever you like otherwise why would Jack be a nickname for John, Jimmy for James, Dick for Richard. My niece is Katarina and goes by Karli, another Anastasia- Tosha, Cynthiana - Hanna. My daughters are Clarissa - Lissa, Clarina - Chloe. My own Pauline- Pebble. Meg is for Margaret, Mia for Amelia. Anything you like is fine.
Anyway for Nichole I like Chloe or Cole. Lina is fine as well.
