I think that they should go to a midwest farm, a west virginia coal mine, A steel mill in pensylvania, or a guy working on the line in detroit. They should approach them and say that you are the new president of the united States. That is the only way that the average American will ever have anyone looking out for his best interest. Do any of you think that Bush or Pelosi has ever been late on an electric bill, or worried about how to pay there mortgage, or a medical bill. Of course not, these are people of privledge, just like everyone in our branches of government. They only listen to there contributers and the lobbyist's, who help to get them elected. It's time that we had a voice. The first thing that a president should think every day when they get out of bed is what can I DO TODAY to help the average working American.

Ron Paul.
He is the only one running who is not being sponsored by Big Business. He believes we should make a strategic withdrawal from Iraq, enforce our immigration laws and repeal the Free Trade agreements with third world nations. He's a republican but is running on an independent ticket.

Of course ifthesouthwouldhavewon has some very good plans.

It is far too early to make that determination. For starters, there are still going to be candidates to announce. Plus, this campaign season has started way too early. It's almost like the stores putting up Christmas decorations on Labor Day.

There's nobody who has expressed an interest that I would willingly vote for. I'd vote against every one of them so far. In another post I mentioned writing in Daffy Duck. He is still the best contender in the field.

This is in response to John R.--> Urban Legend!! Do your homework. That's the problem. too much media and blog hype out there that people take for truth. I would vote for Al Gore. Al has always been a huge environmental activist and he finally put politics aside and went "hollywood" and NOW we are paying attention. Al is the real deal. Not a flash in the pan.

Although I would lable myself as a conservative, I would vote for Barak Obama.

I like that fact that he is genuine and honest.

Most democrats say that they are for the "people", but most of them are still all about the money, but claim that they are not-they are hypocrits. I know republicans are about the money, but at least they admit it.

I prefer the honest crook.

Obama is not a Washington insider all caught up in the politics of Capital Hill. I see in him the "everyman" that we want, and have been looking for, since forever.

Edwards

Honest, sincere, intelligent. I think he truly cares about America. He has achieved success in life, so I think he really does want to change America for the better.
