First of all, a sitting President must do terribly vile and atrocious things before impeachment hearings are justified. Bush has only lied to Congress and the American people about why we illegally and unconstitutionally invaded another sovereign nation that in no way threatened, provoked or attacked the U.S.
Bush has only been responsible for the inexcusable deaths of hundreds of thousands of Iraqis; at least 3,000 people who were in the World Trade Center twin towers on 9-11-01; and over 3,200 U.S. soldiers (so far).
Bush has only committed egregious crimes against our U.S. Constitution and the Geneva Convention.
Bush has approved the torture and sexual abuse of Iraqi 'detainees' in secret government prisons.
Bush has only put American taxpayers TRILLIONS of dollars in debt all for the sake of OIL and MONEY.
Bush has only tarnished America's reputation as a world leader and global super power.
Bush has only created failed economic policies which will result in the worst depression this nation's ever seen not too long after he leaves office (and it will make October, 1929 look like an ice cream social).
So, we have no real reason to impeach such an outstanding occupant of the Oval Office.
Bill Clinton, on the other hand, lied to Congress about an extra-marital sexual dalliance with another consenting adult, in which both parties actively engaged in oral sex.
For that Republicans spent millions of taxpayers' dollars to impeach Clinton.
Maybe what we need is for a White House intern to give Bush a b.j. so we can finally have justifiable reason to impeach him! -RKO-

Most definitely, but both Bush and Cheney and even Rumsfeld if he was still in, should all be impeached.
And whoever says that Bush or Cheney are toting the legal line better explain, what legal line? Oh, do you mean approving invading the privacy of the American people, or to arrest an American if they feel fit to and disallow them the right to an attorney or even imprisonment for the rest of their life without a trial, or tap phone lines, retrieve personal bank records, etc., to do as they please and not answer to ANYBODY?
Hmmm, it seems to me that Clinton was being impeached for lying about having a fling. And we have 2 men who are supposed to be representing the American people, not a few oil tycoons, lying every single day to the American people and has done so since 9/11.
I voted for Bush the first time around because I believed in him and our Republican party. Not anymore, and I stopped believing in 2004 when our whole system started going down and out of control. This is not the Republican party that I know or believe in. I don't even know how they can call themselves conservatives. This is an Administration that is just one step away from being a socialistic party. I really believe it would bring a smile to Bush's face if we could all call him "King" Bush!!!!
So yes, IMPEACH, IMPEACH, IMPEACH...Both Bush and Cheney. Neither of them are the least interested in the American people's welfare. And THAT...would bring a smile to my face!

It won't happen, it would drag out until the re-election anyway, even if it was able to happen.
If Clinton didn't get impeached for having relations with 'that woman', then Bush certainly won't get impeached for wrongly invading another country. Or for his inability to speak properly and think on his own. See, he really didn't do anything!!! It was all that person who has been whispering in his ear this whole time, telling him what to do....now who is that? Oh, right. Cheney. Yeah, that would be a disaster. You're right.

The impeachment of Bush will only progress if it is filed in Congress supported by evidence under the Constitution.

previous due - sure. And sure, we ought to continually impeach. besides the undeniable fact that we will not. Pelosi's congress will placed politics over concept and has already mentioned that the impeachment articles purely isn't acted on, lower back.

Why waste the time and money to do such a thing. His term is up in 1-1/2 years anyways.
Why dont you convince the democrat controlled congress you are so jazzed up about electing into office to stop voting on non-binding proposals, to stop passing bills that are so full of pork spending and really have nothing to do with the title of the bill to begin with.
The dems that were elected into office during the mid terms all ran on a platform of getting our troops out of Iraq. So far their efforts have been less than spectacular to say the least. March of '08 is the best they can ask for?? If I were a liberal democrat I would be upset with them for lying to me about their campaign promises.

first, there has to be grounds for impeachment, they dont have any, thats why the left is on a witchhunt,Nixon is dead, and the Vietnam era that so many people are trying to recreate wont come back, our innocence died in '74.You may not agree with me(and thts O K) but if you watch the media and the representatives along with the anti war protesters(Jane Fonda etc) youll see they're trying to recreate the past

If they impeach Bush then I can't wait to hear everyone start whining for Bush back after Cheney spends some time on top. It will be priceless.
People think Bush is that bad? Then why is Hillary Clinton running for office?

When Bush is impeached it includes Cheney ...why do so many not understand this?
Cheney is and remains complicit in the criminal activities of this White House.
Judge Taylor went on to point out that Bush had not only broken the law, but that he had also violated the Constitution - which many legal scholars would suggest is clearly an impeachable offense. In Judge Taylor's words:
"The President of the United States, a creature of the same Constitution which gave us these Amendments [the Bill of Rights], has undisputedly violated the Fourth in failing to procure judicial orders as required by FISA, and accordingly has violated the First Amendment Rights of these Plaintiffs as well."

everyone says they want him to be impeached but they have no idea what impeachment means. you can not simply impeach a president because you don't like him or you don't think he is doing a good job, impeachment is only used when the president does something illegal. and to my knowledge, president bush has done nothing illegal so even if people want to no one can impeach him
